The Lantern Bag is a tribute to a handbag called "Straeter Lite-On" which we believe was created in 1953 by L.F.W Straeter. LOEWE´s approach to revitalizing this design is yet another example of the house's commitment to celebrating historic feats of craftsmanship in a modern context. Key features: Crafted from Boxcalf. Internal metal frame with a compact mirror, and compartments for essentials. Interior featuring a small flashlight to illuminate contents, and shed light to the outside through a small window. Metallic frame with a push top clasp closure,and a switch to turn on and indicate direction of flashlight.
