In kitchens and the food industry, its closed shape and slip-resistant treaded sole provide reliable grip and maximum slip resistance. Its solid steel toe cap protects the toes and forefoot against impacts of up to 200 joules. Its oil and grease-resistant material also has a water-repellent effect and can thus be cleaned efficiently and thoroughly. To do this, remove the cork-latex footbed and wash the clog at up to 80° Celsius. Both parts of the shoe are suitable for daily disinfection. The anatomically shaped original BIRKENSTOCK footbed protects joints and tendons and is also washable at up to 30° Celsius. If necessary, the footbed can be replaced, it is available separately.
