For the Spring Summer 2022 collection, elements of garments from the past are explored and recontextualized in a process of reduction that strips the shapes and architectures of clothes back to their bare essentials. Abstracting the body rather than holding it, the boning of corsets recalls ancient garments yet forms new pieces like this poplin shirt defined by its contemporary masculine boxy fit. An imprint of the past continues to shape our present.
